| Strawberry Raspberry Sauce |
Here’s a perfect sauce to have with ice cream when you have unexpected guests or family and friends. It’s also good on yogurt or even pancakes.
I like this recipe because it’s not too sweet, which allows the taste of the fruit to shine.
Strawberry and Raspberry Sauce
1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
1 cup fresh raspberries
1 cup fresh raspberries
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon water
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon water
1 teaspoon cornstarch
Directions:
Add all ingredients into a medium-size saucepan and cook over medium-high heat. Lower heat and simmer about eight minutes until consistency thickens, stirring occasionally. Serve on ice cream, yogurt, or pancakes.
