Easy Chocolate Brownies with Pecans |
Chocolate…what does it mean to you? Children relish it, lovers share it, chocoholics stash it, and everyone loves it. Here’s a chocolate brownie recipe to share with all.
Chocolate Brownie with Pecans
Makes about 12 pieces
1 cup all-purpose flour
¾ cup sugar
½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup pecans, chopped
2 eggs
2/3 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/3 cup butter, melted
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Line a 8 x 8 inch square pan with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa, semi-sweet chocolate chips, baking powder, salt and pecans.
In a separate bowl whisk together eggs, buttermilk, and vanilla. Add liquids to flour mixture along with melted butter.
Stir until batter is smooth. Spoon into prepared pan and bake 30 minutes or until tester comes out clean.
